TidyQuote accounts use email and password through Supabase Auth. The application uses your account identifier and email to associate your saved data with your account. Password handling is provided by Supabase Auth; the client database does not store readable passwords.

What is saved

Saving a quote, client, job, task, expense or business profile sends those fields to the application’s hosted database. Records are associated with your signed-in account. Each request checks that account before returning or changing records. Hosting and authentication infrastructure also process normal request metadata.

Control your information

Export your account data from Settings. Delete quotes, clients, jobs, tasks and expenses in the workspace. Business settings can be cleared and saved. Older browser-only quotes remain in that browser until you clear them; importing copies them into your account and does not remove the originals.

Cookies and browser storage

Authentication uses cookies to maintain your signed-in session. The calculator can retain older locally saved records in browser storage; clearing that storage removes those local copies, not records saved in your account. No advertising or analytics trackers are intentionally added by this application. Hosting-provider scripts and any future tracking must be reviewed before launch.

Advertising and email

Registration and password recovery emails are sent through Supabase and Resend. No live advertising, marketing mailing list or customer quote delivery is enabled. Quote email previews do not send messages. If test email is configured, it can send only to the signed-in account on the server test allowlist. Using Copy quote or Copy email does not send anything through TidyQuote. PDF exports contain the details you put into the proposal.

Test subscription billing

When configured, test checkout is hosted by Stripe. Your account email and internal account identifier are sent to Stripe to link a subscription. TidyQuote stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, status and period dates. Card details are entered on Stripe and are not stored in the TidyQuote database. Use test payment details only; live charges are disabled. Stripe provides subscription and invoice management through its portal.

Use sample records while testing

Do not enter real customer or sensitive information until the launch requirements below have been completed. Checklists are stored within job notes and included in exports. Copied messages and downloaded files leave the application and must be handled securely by you.

Before public launch

This is a pre-launch version. Operator contact details, retention arrangements, account deletion support and notices for any future payment, email or advertising providers need to be finalised before public commercial launch.
